BANGOR, Maine — Night paving work will reduce Interstate 95 to a single lane in both directions between Bangor and Hampden starting Sunday.
The southbound work will start approximately 0.11 miles north of the Hogan Road exit and extend to just south of the I-395 interchange, according to Maine Department of Transportation spokesman Ted Talbot.
The northbound work starts 1.75 miles north of the Newburgh/Hampden town line and extends to Hogan Road.
Work crews will be milling the pavement surface, repairing shoulders and paving those areas, and Talbot said the project will skip the Union Street bridge project.
Single-lane restrictions will be in effect from 7 p.m. through 7 a.m., with all work expected to be done at night.
Work is expected to conclude by the end of July.
