Ronald P Kobrin

BANGOR – Ronald P. Kobrin, 63, died June 8, 2014, at a Bangor hospital after losing his battle against cancer. He was born July 12, 1950, in Meriden, CT. the son of Peter and Viola (Wornick) Kobrin.
Ron graduated from Wilcox Vo-Tech High School, class of 1970. He moved his family to Maine in 1987, where he was employed at GE Bangor for 20 yrs. He then worked in Hampden at Olsen’s Equine for his good friend, Howie Olsen. Ron enjoyed taking photographs with his favorite subject being his two girls, Lexy and Lady, his 4 yr. old Golden Retrievers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Joshua Stevens. Surviving are his sons, David and his wife, Kelly, from Orrington, Joseph and his life partner, Daphene Spencer, from Bangor and Gary and his girlfriend, Brittany Dorja, from Bangor; 6 grandchildren, Ciera Downing, Nichalas Kobrin, Alycia and Eric Stevens, Trevor R. Stitham and Ashley Gelo, two brothers, Steve from CT and Tom from FL; many nieces and nephews.
Per Rons wishes there will be no service. However, the family would like to invite family and friends to a Celebration of his life to be held on Wednesday June 11, 2014, from 4:30 pm to 7 pm at David and Kelly’s house, 337 Snows Corner Rd., Orrington, ME 04474.
