Knitting group

HAMPDEN — Knitters are invited to attend the knitting group that meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Edythe Dyer Library, 269 Main Road North. For information, call the library at 862-3550.


Fleece sale volunteer

WINDSOR — A volunteer to do a three-hour fleece sale shift is needed for the Fiber Frolic. The volunteer will receive free admission to the event and a T-shirt. Find the volunteer form at fiberfrolic.com or email Gabi at gabihugs@yahoo.com for information.

The 14th annual Fiber Frolic will take place 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 7-8, at the Windsor Fairgrounds. The event will feature demonstrations, workshops, entertainment and much more. Admission is $5, $2 senior citizens, free to children under 12.


Craft show youth area

CUMBERLAND — The United Maine Craftsmen is sponsoring a youth area 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Cumberland Craft Show. The area is open to any Maine resident age 10 to 21 years of age.  Youths may rent half a table for $10 or a full table for $20.  Space is allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and applications must be received by July 30 for consideration.
