KENSINGTON, New Hampshire — Police in New Hampshire took Anthony Reardon, 44, into custody after a Tuesday night manhunt that lasted roughly six hours, CBS13 reported.

It started when police got a call for a potentially suicidal man who was spotted on his roof armed with a rifle. Police say when they arrived, Reardon came off the roof and stole a police cruiser.

Police say Reardon rammed into another cruiser, opened fire on officers, then ran into the woods.

Multiple police agencies were brought in to search for him.

Reardon was eventually found inside his house. Reardon was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

There is no word yet on what charges he may face.
