Sea Dogs, Rock Cats to play two Wednesday

PORTLAND, MAINE — The Portland Sea Dogs and New Britain Rock Cats played into the bottom of the second inning of Tuesday night’s game before it was suspended due to inclement weather.

The two teams played to a 5-5 tie and the game will resume at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s suspended game can exchange their tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2014 Sea Dogs home game.

After the suspended game is completed, the Sea Dogs will play the Rock Cats in Wednesday’s regularly scheduled game, which will be seven innings in duration.

Fans who have tickets for Wednesday’s games, will be able to watch both games for one admission.

The Sea Dogs will welcome their 8 millionth fan in franchise history on Wednesday.
