DYER BROOK, Maine — Three Rhode Island residents suffered minor injuries in a rollover accident in Dyer Brook on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just after 7 a.m. on Interstate 95, Maine State Police Sgt. Josh Haines said Tuesday.

Karen Deliberis, 55, of Coventry, Rhode Island, was heading south in her 2012 Hyundai when she lost control of the car and it rolled over, Haines said. Her two passengers, 14-year-old Emily Mowry and 22-year-old Nicole Deliberis, also of Coventry, were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Houlton Fire Department.

All three occupants were taken by the Houlton Ambulance Department to Houlton Regional Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and then released.

The road was wet at the time, according to Haines, and likely was a contributing factor in the crash.

Trooper Ethan Doody was the investigating officer.
