HERMON — Karli Theberge pitched seven innings of one-hit ball, struck out seven and did not walk a batter on Tuesday to carry the Hermon Hawks to a 3-0 high school softball victory over Mount Desert Island of Bar Harbor.
Lexey MacManus singled twice for Hermon, while Kylie Kennedy and Theberge each provided a single and an RBI. Claire Petersen worked an RBI walk.
Shelby O’Neil hit a single for Mount Desert Island to support losing pitcher Haley Littlefield, who allowed six hits and four walks with a strikeout.

At Howland, Morgan Moon smacked a triple and two doubles to lead the Howlers to a six-inning victory over the Bulldogs.

At Ellsworth, Megan Hunt scattered six hits while striking out seven in a complete-game victory for the Eagles.
Emily Berry sparked the Eagles with a double, triple, four RBIs and three runs. Leah Stevens added three singles and three runs while Abby Lynch had two singles and three RBIs.
For John Bapst, Maliyan Binette had two singles and two runs while Karrie O’Donnell added two singles.

At Orono on Monday, Morgan Dauk recorded a triple, two singles and three RBIs to help the Eagles of Blue Hill prevail.
Olivia Stevenson chipped in with three singles and three RBIs for the Eagles and Sarah Mullen added two singles and two RBIs.
Mollie Burr paced the Red Riots with a home run, double and five RBIs. Jordan Richards added three singles and three RBIs while Maddie Gifford contributed a triple, double and single.

At Orono, Mount Desert Island’s Tom Paola threw seven innings of no-hit baseball, striking out five batters along the way, to the Mount Desert Island Trojans to victory over Hermon at Mahaney Diamond.
MDI was led at the plate by Riley Swanson, who tripled in the game’s only two runs in the fourth inning. Steven Hanscome and Jack Sasner each singled.
Nick Guerrette pitched six solid innings for Hermon, only allowing three hits.

At Thomaston, Ryan Allender tossed a no-hitter, striking out 5 and walking only 1 in five innings, to help the Mariners improve to 9-2.
It was Oceanside’s second no-hitter against Medomak Valley of Waldoboro (3-8) this season.
J.T. Tobin belted a 3-run homer, his fifth of the season, while Zac Roman and Thomas Curtis each drove in two runs for the winners, who scored 11 runs in the third inning.
Nick Mazurek and Caleb Jacob each had 2 hits and a RBI.

At Ellsworth, Conor Maguire singled three times, drove in a run and went the distance on the mound to propel the Eagles to victory.

At Lee, the Raiders scored 9 runs in the fourth inning to turn a 2-1 lead into a 10-run advantage and coasted to victory.
Washington Academy (6-4) took advantage of 17 walks and a hit batter by six different Lee pitchers.
Colin Pineo earned the complete game win for WA, scattering 5 hits over 6 innings. Kyle Taylor, Gage Feeney and Fred MacLean all doubled and Pineo singled twice.
Kyler Peters doubled and Joe Socobasin and Jeff Tomah had RBI singles to lead Lee Academy (4-4).

At Farmington, the Cougars used three pitchers on their way to the Class A victory.
Cam Abbott pitched three innings, allowing one earned run, followed by the winning pitcher Ryan Pratt, who gave up two runs in two innings. Amos Herrin pitched two shutout innings, striking out two and earning the save.
Cole Robinson took the loss for the Bulldogs of Fairfield, pitching four innings and allowing six runs.
Mt Blue’s bats were led by Colton Lawrence’s three singles and Anthony Franchetti’s three singles and an RBI. Tye Nichols added a two-run single and Amos Herrin had an RBI double.
Lawrence was led by Spencer Folsom and Matt Champney with three singles each.
