By WGME Staff, Special to the BDN

WATERVILLE, Maine — Waterville police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a couple in the parking lot of the Bangor Savings Bank on Main Street.

Police said two people in a car were getting ready to make a deposit when they were approached by a man who showed them a knife and demanded money.

Police aren’t releasing information on how much money was stolen and aren’t giving details about the suspect, except to report that it is a white male in his 20s.

The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for any tips that could help lead to an arrest.

If you have any information, call Waterville police at 680-4700.

The Bangor Daily News and WGME on Tuesday announced a new media partnership that will include the sharing of news stories and co-hosting of public events, such as political debates.
