Missing man driving to Calais found safe in Ohio

CALAIS, Maine — An 80-year-old former resident who now lives in West Virginia and was reported missing has been found safe in Ohio, according to his son.

The man’s son, Richard Trader, said Wednesday that his dad was en route to his home in Calais and never made it to his planned stopover Tuesday night in Connecticut. On Thursday morning, he reported that his father had been found safe.

Dorman Trader, described as a blue-eyed, 5-foot, 10-inch white male who weighs about 220 pounds, left Wallace, West Virginia, at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, according to his wife. He left driving a silver 2003 Chevy Impala, with a license plate number of 8JA560.
