Game notes: The Black Bears continue their battle for a playoff spot against the frontrunning Seawolves. UMaine has won six of the last eight meetings with SBU, which is 15-1 at home this season. The Bears are last in AE league play with a .231 batting average, posting only 2.8 runs per game. SBU is tops in pitching with a 2.21 team ERA in AE play. The Seawolves swept Albany last weekend.
