Strap on your running shoes and join us for the second annual Erin’s Run in Bangor this Saturday at 10 a.m.

The race is in memory of Erin McGrath Woolley who worked for Spruce Run in Bangor after graduating from the University of Maine at Orono.

It is a 5K and money raised will go toward supporting Spruce Run, a nonprofit organization helping those affected by domestic violence and a scholarship in Erin’s name. The BDN has partnered with Spruce Run several times in the past year, and Natalie Feulner and Erin Rhoda both completed volunteer training for their hotline last year as part of MaineFocus.

Register for $25 at erinsrun.org or at the event which will start at the Bangor Waterfront.
