Janice (Anderson) ‘Bam’ Morse

ELLSWORTH – Janice (Anderson) Morse “Bam”, 87, died April 21, 2014, in Bangor. She was born April 3, 1927, in Ellsworth, daughter of Frank W. and Marion (Coughlin) Anderson Sr.

After high school, Janice worked for Judge Crabtree in his law office, she worked for the telephone company, and eventually retired from the Ellsworth School Department lunch program. She was a volunteer at two local nursing homes and contributed to a number of charities. Janice was a devout Catholic. Bam has such a loving family and so many special friends.

Janice is survived by her son, John Morse and Melody Reed; a daughter, Jeanne Daigle and her husband, Leonard, all of Ellsworth; a brother, Freddy Anderson, of Brewer; four grandchildren, John Morse II and his wife, Kathleen; Jock Morse and Laura Lane; Jade Daigle; and Deanna Anderson and her husband, Eric; two great-grandsons, Gavin Morse and Antoine Hayden; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; her parents; two brothers, Frank Jr. and George; and her sister, Mary.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. May 16, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 231 Main St., Ellsworth. Committal will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Ellsworth. If friends desire, they make contributions in memory of Janice to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
