Game notes: The Black Bears, coming off a disappointing America East series at Binghamton, begin a string of six straight nonconference games against the Crusaders. Holy Cross is sixth (last) in the Patriot League and has dropped four in a row and 10 of its last 11 contests. The Crusaders are batting only .257.
