Cecil R. ‘Skip’ Worster Jr.

BANGOR – Cecil R. ‘Skip’ Worster Jr., 46, died Nov. 21, 2013. He was born Sept. 30, 1967, in Bangor, a son of Cecil and Geraldine (Stanley) Worster.

Skip graduated from Bangor High School. He worked as a truck driver, daycare provider and owned his own tree service business. He loved outdoor activities, hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and motor cross. He earned many motor cross trophies.

He is survived by his wife, Heather; a son he adored, Wyatt; his father, Cecil Sr. of Bangor; sisters, Barbara Bowden and her husband, Gary of Bangor, Jean Walsh of Bangor, Lucy M. Avoy of South Carolina; brothers, Timothy Worster and his wife, Lillian of South Carolina, Terry Worster and his wife, Peggy of Hermon; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine.

There will be no service. Friends and relatives are invited to share conversation with the family 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Eastern Maine Snowmobile Club, 263 Levenseller Road, Holden. Donations in Skip’s memory may be sent to Down East Emergency Medicine Institute Search and Rescue or Julie Jones from VK9 Scent Specific Search and Recovery. The family wishes to thank both of these parties for their efforts in the search for Skip.
