PLYMOUTH, Maine — Two men are facing charges after they were arrested Tuesday in connection with multiple burglaries in central Maine, state police said.

Jamies Field, 25, of Pittsfield and Jacob Graham, 18, of Hartland were spotted by a Plymouth resident in his barn on Tuesday, according to Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland.

The two men were captured after troopers tracked them with a police dog in the nearby woods off Route 7, McCausland said.

He noted that further investigation revealed Field and Graham also are responsible for burglaries in Pittsfield, St. Albans and Harmony over the course of this week.

All buildings entered by the suspects were either vacant or when occupants weren’t home, McCausland said, and a TV, ice auger, electronics, work boots and collectibles were among the items recovered.

The suspects were taken to Penobscot County Jail and later released on bail.
