OLD TOWN – Joanne Marie Michaud, 71, died peacefully yet unexpectedly April 8, 2014 at a Bangor hospital with her family by her side. She was born December 7, 1943 in New Britian, CT, a daughter of Casimir J. Sr. and Rose A. (Mlodojewski) Kucharczyk.
Joanne enjoyed movies, her stuffed animal collection, and doing crossword puzzles. She will be remembered for her dry yet hilarious jokes. Time spent with family was special to her.
She is survived by three daughters, Monique Michaud of Baker Brook, NB, Brenda Belanger and her husband, David of Old Town, Joyce Michaud of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Misty Belanger, Jasmin Belanger, Jamie Ouellette, Julie Ouellette, Trevor Bouchard, and Lucas Michaud; one great-grandchild, Jake Ouellette; two brothers, Casmir Kucharczyk Jr., and Tom Kucharczyk; the father of her children, Maurice C. Michaud. She was predeceased by her parents.
A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
