Robert F Wadleigh

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL AND AUGUSTA, ME – Robert “Bob” Forrest Wadleigh passed away at Zephyrhills Hospital in Florida after a short illness on Friday, April 4, 2014. He is survived by his mother Marjorie Wadleigh; a sister Karen Sprague and her husband Walter Sprague; children Crystal Tropeano of Holden, MA; Robert R. Wadleigh and wife Kim of Bucksport, ME and Kevin Wadleigh of Bath, ME. Grandchildren Cameron Wadleigh and fiancé Kaylee Chipman, Jordan Wadleigh, Miranda Wadleigh, Colby Wadleigh and Isabella Tropeano and one great granddaughter Allianna Wadleigh. He had 2 nieces and 1 nephew, Tracy Sprague, Abigail Sprague and Ryan Sprague and wife Amanda. He is survived by his partner of 4 years Joanna Hamilton.
He was predeceased by his father Forrest Wadleigh and sister Mary Louise Wadleigh.
Bob was born on September 3, 1942 in Bangor and grew up in Winterport. He was a journeyman who worked many jobs but spent the most time working for the Bucksport School System as a maintenance technician. He retired from the school after working there for 32 years. He had a great love for hunting and fishing and spending his winters in Florida.
Funeral service will be held in Zephyrhills, Florida and Internment Services will be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Winterport at a later date.
