DEER ISLE – Richard Albert Cicoro, 67, went peacefully to the Lord, April 1, 2014, opening day of fishing season. He was born in Brockton, MA, Nov. 25, 1946 to Richard Angelo Cicoro and Albina Elizabeth (Ekasala) Cicoro.

Rick enjoyed the beauty of nature where he spent his days working the land or on the water which replenished his soul and provided his livelihood. Rick could fix anything with moving parts; an unbelievable mechanic and machinist, but his true passion was riding, racing and building Harleys. He was a faithful communicant at St. Vincent De Paul and St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Churches and was proud to be an active fourth degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Through all of his struggles faith was his compass and the Lord was his Rock.
