Frances D. “Pat” Herbert

JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Frances D. “Pat” Herbert, 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away March 31, 2014 at Taylor Care Center in Jacksonville with family by her side. She was born in Bangor, Nov. 20, 1927 to the late Napoleon Joseph Saindon and Madeline May Luster.

Pat was born and raised in Maine and later moved to St. Augustine, FL. She resided in St. Augustine for many years until recently moving to Jacksonville in 2011. Pat was the owner of Key West Ties in St. Augustine for 5 years and later worked in Real Estate. She loved raising her children, entertaining, traveling and while living in St. Augustine she was an active member of the Garden Club and Bridge Club.

Pat was predeceased by her parents; her devoted husband of 32 years, Francis C. Herbert; her son, Richard Tripp; her brother, Horace “Sonny” Saindon; and her sister, Ruth Saindon. Pat is survived by her loving children, Patricia Blanchard of Fitchburg, MA, Cyril Tripp, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Gail McNally of North Yarmouth and Cheryl (Ronnie) Brannan of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Noreen (Marty) Peters of ME; her 8 grandchildren, Steve, Chris, Jennifer, Heather, Lauren, Meghan, Ronnie, Jr. and Adam; and her 7 great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Justin, Karsun, Kaisun, Kampbell, Jayden and Hailey.
