MARS HILL, Maine — A 26-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with thefts at two stores, including an armed robbery Wednesday evening, WAGM reports.

Police told the affiliate that Ralph Levesque walked into the Mars Hill One Stop brandishing a weapon and left with money, although the type of weapon and amount of money were not disclosed.

State police, the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department and U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to the robbery. Levesque was arrested Wednesday night walking on Chandler Road in Blaine, WGAM reported, and charged with robbery, two counts of theft and violation of condition of release, as well as an outstanding Lincoln County warrant.

Levesque is also suspected in a theft earlier Wednesday in which cigarettes and beer were stolen from the Mars Hill Circle-K. The case is still under investigation.
