BATH, Maine — Three Bath-area teens face felony charges after what police describe as a “vandalism spree” during the month of March.

Robert Bruce, 18, of West Bath is charged with burglary and aggravated criminal mischief, while Zachary Carey, 19, and Amelia Trafton, 18, both of Bath, are charged with aggravated criminal mischief, according to a release from Bath Police Lt. Robert Savary.

Savary said investigators continue to gather estimates of the damaged property, but they expect it to total more than $2,000.

The three were arrested Tuesday for a series of 15 incidents involving smashed windows in vehicles, graffiti on buildings and burglary of a vacant Bath home.

Bruce was released on $5,000 unsecured bail, and Trafton released on $2,500 unsecured bail. Both are scheduled for arraignment at West Bath District Court on June 10.

Carey remained in Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on Wednesday afternoon, held on $5,000 cash bail.
