AUGUSTA, Maine — Augusta police arrested two local men and a man from Connecticut Tuesday in connection with a residential robbery on Mount Vernon Avenue.
The robbery occurred shortly before 11 a.m., Deputy Chief Jared Mills of the Augusta Police Department said Tuesday in a news release.
Mills said that police were called to the Mount Vernon Avenue residence for a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, police learned that a robbery had occurred involving one victim and multiple suspects.
Officers and detectives obtained descriptions of the suspects, who were stopped in Gardiner by personnel from the State Fire Marshal’s Office and Gardiner police.
— Zachary Monahan, 25, of Thompson, Conn., who is charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault and burglary.
— Robert Dejesus, 29, of West Gardiner, who is charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault and burglary.
— Jonathan Krajewski, 24, of Augusta, who is charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault and burglary as well as outstanding arrest warrants.
All three men were taken to Kennebec County Jail, Mills said.
