Thomaston man arrested for allegedly driving drunk with child in car

ROCKLAND, Maine — A 41-year-old Thomaston man was arrested late Friday night, accused of drunk driving with his toddler in the car.

Dennis Davis was arrested shortly before midnight by Rockland police Officer Andrew Redden near the intersection of Union and Summer streets. Police said the toddler was in a car seat.

He was charged with operating under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child.

Davis was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland. He was later released on bail.

Details on how the child was cared for after Davis’ arrest were not immediately available.
