FARMINGTON, Maine — A 25-year-old woman who was out jogging Sunday morning was struck by a pickup that lost control in slushy conditions, the Sun Journal reports.

Tess Perry of Farmington is in intensive care at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, the newspaper says.

Police told the Sun Journal that Perry was struck at 9:09 a.m. Sunday on Fairbanks Road near the intersection with Partridge Lane. Colin Gallagher, 25, of Brunswick was driving to Rangeley when his 2002 Dodge pickup lost control and slid off the road, hitting Perry in the process.

Police told the newspaper the accident is still under investigation.
