CARIBOU – Sheila M. Jones, 70, passed away surrounded by her family, Friday, March 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Leonard and Helen (Delong) Levesque.
Sheila worked as a bookkeeper at Gulliver’s Service Station in Fort Fairfield, and L.B. Carter Co., in Caribou for many years. She loved to wrap gifts, enjoyed working in her flower gardens, collecting Boyds bears, and was a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Roger of Caribou; a son, Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Kim, of Limestone; a brother, Lonnie Levesque and his wife, Rita, of Fort Fairfield; a sister, Shelba Pierce and her husband, Larry, of Fort Fairfield; a grandson, Nathan Jones and his companion, Amanda Guerrette, of Caribou; a great-granddaughter, Aria Jones; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and a daughter, Heidi Jones.
There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Crouseville Cemetery, Crouseville, later in this spring.
