GRAY, Maine — Winter isn’t ready to disperse quite yet.

Another batch of messy weather is forecast to hit the state Saturday night and into Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

A slow-moving front trucking up the Eastern Seaboard is expected to bring heavy rain and a mix of freezing rain and snow to much of the state, according to the weather service.

Coastal communities are expected to see mostly rain, but with melting snow and warm temperatures, there is potential for flooding and ice jams, the weather service said.

Central communities are expected to receive a mixed bag of precipitation while mountain regions could see accumulating snow, according to the weather service.
