HARRISON, Maine — A woman was killed on Wednesday morning after her vehicle hit a frost heave, left Naples Road and struck a tree, police said.

Sabrina Titus, 28, of Raymond was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Capt. Don Goulet of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

A passing motorist saw the vehicle in a yard and called 911, according to Goulet.

Titus was heading north at the time of the accident, and her Chevy Blazer left the road after hitting the frost heave. It then hit a snowbank and went airborne before hitting a rock wall, rolling onto the driver’s side and striking the tree with the roof, Goulet said.

The accident remains under investigation.
