Bangor police are looking to speak to this man, a person of interest in a stolen vehicle case.

BANGOR, Maine — A vehicle reported stolen in Brunswick was located in a Bangor restaurant parking lot Wednesday, and police are looking to speak with a person of interest.

Lt. Paul Edwards said on Friday that Officer Joe Baillargeon responded to Seasons on Main Street on Wednesday for a suspicious vehicle report.

Edwards said when the officer arrived, he found a Ford Windstar partially blocking the restaurant’s entrance, and a check of the plates revealed the vehicle was stolen.

A receipt found in the vehicle led Baillargeon to Walmart on Stillwater Avenue, and store security matched the items purchased with the photograph of the man police released to local media, Edwards said.

Police are looking to speak with this man and are asking for the public’s help.

Anybody who knows the man should contact Baillargeon at 947-7382, ext. 5766, or use ext. 6 to leave an anonymous tip.
