BREWER – Jennine A. Sulinski (Lyon) died March 16, 2014, at a Brewer nursing home of emphysema. The legacy of her life is the family that she loved dearly. Jennine’s life began in Orono, as the sixth child of Rupert and Anne (Tardiff) Lyon on Feb. 8, 1939. Two siblings survive her, Rupert Lyon Jr. and Ethel Ramsey.
She married at the young age of 15 and gave the world five beautiful children, Lynn Ellis, Stephania Dionne, Mike Sulinski, Mark Sulinski, and Ann Sulinski. Following her divorce in 1972, she raised her children in Old Town, where she worked and began to celebrate the arrival of grandchildren, Shana Pelletier, Dave Ellis, Ray Dionne, James Sulinski, William Sulinski, Meaghan Sulinski, Sarha Gayle Salley, Katie Sulinski and Brittany Sulinski. The births of great-grandchildren gave Jennine great joy, Haylee Hannan, Jaycob Hannan, Cheyanne Salley, Camryn Salley and AJ Dionne. She was also blessed with three stepgreat-granddaughters, Monique and Krystyn Pelletier and Draven Montague. She will be missed as well by beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, sons and daughters-in-law.
A Celebration of her life will be held on May 10th with a small gathering of family and close friends. Jennine worked at Phillips Strickland House for many years as a dietary assistant and lived in their assisted living from January 2012 – January 2014, where donations in her memory may be mailed to 21 Boyd St., Bangor, ME 04401.
