Wiscasset man arrested after allegedly selling marijuana to teen

WISCASSET, Maine — Wiscasset police have charged a 57-year-old man with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs after he allegedly sold a marijuana cigarette to a 16-year-old boy.

Kris Sliker was arrested at his Wiscasset home at approximately 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Kline.

Officers had been investigating Sliker since receiving information earlier last week that he was selling marijuana to juveniles.

According to Kline, Sliker admitted to selling one marijuana cigarette, or “joint,” to a 16-year-old boy for $5.

Sliker was released from Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on $500 cash and conditions including he have no contact with the juvenile.

A court date for Sliker was not available Monday.
