ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla., and VAN BUREN – Wilmer “Moe” Gerard St. Pierre, 67, died Feb. 28, 2014, at his home in Zephyrhills, Fla. He was born March 20, 1946, in Van Buren, to Frank and Annie (Lavoie) St. Pierre.
Wilmer is survived by his partner of 24 years, Barbara Wassell of Zephyrhills, Fla. He is survived by his two children, Matthew St. Pierre and fiancée, Karmen Young, of Hancock, and Michelle and husband, David McLaughlin, of Harrington. He leaves two granddaughters, Jasmine and Brittany St. Pierre, and their mother, Kimberly St. Pierre, of Columbia, Tenn.; his brother, Eldrick and wife, Dr. Aziza Rajab St. Pierre, of Saudi Arabia, and Florida; and sister, Maxine Freeman of Phoenix. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Stanley, Clarence, and Bertin; and sister, Theresa Pelkey.
