OSWEGO, N.Y. — Members of the Bowdoin College men’s hockey team were eating their pregame meal here Wednesday when the team bus slid down a hill and crashed into the restaurant, according to the school’s athletics website.

The statement explained that the bus, owned by Northeast Charter and Tour Co. of Lewiston, had been parked and was unoccupied at the time of the incident. There were no injuries and no damage to the establishment, Canale’s Restaurant, according to a report on the website of WSYR-TV in Syracuse.

Due to inclement weather in upstate New York on Wednesday, Bowdoin’s NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship First Round game against Oswego State was postponed until Thursday at 3 p.m. Classes at Oswego State also were canceled on Wednesday.
