KINGSLAND, Ga., and OLD TOWN – Mark A. Coulombe, 48, of Kingsland, Ga., passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, from the results of a motorcycle accident. Mark was born March 1, 1966, in Bangor, the son of Richard and Marilyn Coulombe.
Mark was a 1984 graduate of Old Town High School. He was employed with Trident Refit Facility at Kingsbay for the past 20 years. He was a die-hard Red Sox and Patriots fan, and a member of the Gator Bowl Volunteer Association and Kingsbay softball league. He was a member of the Kingsbay Officials Association and Georgia High School Association. Mark was very active in sports, refereeing and umpiring for all the schools in Camden County, Ga. He coached T Ball and Baseball for many years.
He was a member of the VFW, and the Moose Lodge where he was a member of the Dart League. Mark was also a member of the Elks. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa J. Coulombe of Kingsland, Ga.; children, Adam Everett, Cody Coulombe, and Kacy Coulombe, all of Kingsland, Ga.; parents, Richard and Marilyn Coulombe of Old Town; siblings, Deanna Millet and Mike of Eddington, Tonda Eastman and Gary of Bangor, Dawn Anderson and Dan of Eddington, Sherrie Ellis and Mark of Milford, Rick Coulombe and Thom Coulombe both of Portland, and Shawn Coulombe of Bangor; six nieces, seven nephews, two great-nieces, four great-nephews, and several aunts, and uncles; and a special friend, Richard Kane of Portland.
To celebrate Mark’s life, a gathering of family and friends will be held noon Sunday, March 16, at the Old Town Elks Lodge.
