BANGOR, Maine — Multi-Grammy Award and ACM Award-winning country artist Brad Paisley announced Friday his first-ever concert in Bangor, set to take place at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion on Sunday, June 15, as part of the 2014 Machias Savings Bank Concert Series.
Paisley’s appearance previously was announced as part of Waterfront Concerts country “megaticket” deal — a three-concert run of shows featuring megastars Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldean, set for June 15, Aug. 30 and Aug. 31, respectively. At that time, only megaticket packages were available, but individual tickets for the Paisley show were announced Friday and range from $32.25 to $101.25. They will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14.
Paisley, who has more than a dozen No. 1 singles, including “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song)” and “Then,” will be touring this summer to support “Wheelhouse,” his 10th studio LP, which came out in April 2013, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, with 100,000 copies sold in its first week.
