Oral R. Watson

LITTLETON AND MONTICELLO – Oral R. Watson 59, died March 3, 2014 surrounded by his family at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 21, 1954 at Houlton, the son of Lawrence and Julia (Brooker) Watson.
After graduating from Houlton High School Oral went to work with his father and brother as a 4th generation artesian well driller then becoming owner operator with is brother Jamie Watson of Watson Well Drilling. Oral was a Life member of the Littleton United Baptist Church, active member the Meduxnekeag Ramblers Snow Mobile Club and member of the Houlton Community Golf Course. He enjoyed work, trips to camp, snowmobiling, and his children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Oral is survived by his mother of Houlton, wife, Heidi (Good) Watson of Monticello; his son, James Watson and his wife, Erin of Littleton; his daughter, Kathryn Michaud and her husband, Michael of Chapman; two grandchildren, Jacob and Faith Watson of Littleton; his brother, James L. Watson and his wife, Rondise; of Littleton and his sister, Geanne Watson of Houlton; four nieces, LaDericka and Arthur Sewell, Lezley and Brian Sturtevant, Amber and Derek Hines, Lindsay Watson. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence Watson and his in-laws, Arnold and Marion Good.
Friends may call 11 a.m. Friday at the Littleton United Baptist Church until the time of the service 1 p.m. with Rev. Steve Straubel officiating. Spring interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery.
