BREWER – Amanda L. Kelley, age 30, of Brewer passed on and joined her mother Odella Kelley and brother Peter Munn in heaven Saturday, February 22 in Veazie, Maine. Amanda is survived by her wife, Veronica Kelley, and three step-children Gabby, Dakota, and Cassidy; Her parents Charles Kelley, Candy Kelley, Carl Spencer, Sandie Travis and a special woman whom she thought of as a Mom Janet Watson; brothers Ronnie, Paul, C.J., Cody and Patrick; sisters Noel, Monique, Arlene, Tammy, and Danielle; several aunts, uncles, cousins and best friend Megan. Besides being the most loving wife, step-mother, sister, daughter, and friend she could be she was the best aunty. She loved Destiny, Aliyah, Dominick, Arianna, Mythias, Darius, and Hayden as if they were her own. And we can all take some comfort that she is in heaven holding Lily tight.
Amanda attended Hermon Christian and graduated Hermon High School in 2003 where she played softball. She earned her Associates degree in Human Services in 2011. She loved children and was a child at heart herself. She loved music and often used the words of songs to express how she felt. She was the life of the party. When she was in the room everyone knew and loved her presence.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Hammond Street Congregational Church at 28 High Street in Bangor on Thursday March 6th, 2014 at 6 PM. A gathering will be held immediately following the service at the church. All are welcome to stay and celebrate Amanda’s life with family and friends.
