Corey Hagan of Bath was charged with aggravated assault Tuesday night, according to a news release from Bath Police Chief Michael Field.

Officers arrived at a Bath apartment building at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday to find a 60-year-old man who had been struck in the head with a cooking pan.

Hagan, who lived in an upstairs apartment, was arrested and charged with the Class B felony.

The injured man was taken by Bath ambulance to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. His condition was not available Wednesday.

Hagan was held on $500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Sagadahoc County Superior Court on April 15.
