Philip J. Magill

NAPLES, Fla. – Phillip Magill, 87, long term resident of Naples, Fla., passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2014.
Phillip served our country in the Navy during World War II. He was the first to open a TV, video repair shop in Orono. Afterwards, he worked for the F.A.A. as a Radar Technician in Bangor. Phillip loved Florida and loved playing the saxophone. He played in the Gulf Coast Big Band and several others. While playing the saxophone he was able to travel the world with many different bands which he truly enjoyed right up till he was 80.
Phillip is survived by: his children, Sandi Lavin, Douglas Magill, Lynda Magill, Chris Magill, and Peggy Spencer; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Phillip was predeceased by his son, John.
A private ceremony was held in private by the family.
