WISCASSET, Maine — A 30-year-old woman has been sentenced to 21 months in jail for injecting her boyfriend with a fatal dose of heroin in Alna.

Angela L. Robbins, also known as Angela L. Brochu, of Damariscotta and formerly of Alna, pleaded guilty to Class C unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs for the incident, which occurred April 20, 2013.

According to court documents, Robbins entered her plea on Feb. 13 in Lincoln County Superior Court.

In an affidavit, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detective Terry Michaud wrote that Robbins injected Christopher Curtis with heroin, “which in culmination of alcohol and other drugs resulted in Curtis’ death.”

Robbins was also indicted in September on one count of Class B aggravated furnishing of scheduled drugs. That charge was dismissed.
