HAMPDEN, Maine — Police are investigating a break-in that occurred at a Hampden restaurant early Thursday morning.

Hampden police were dispatched to Angler’s on Coldbrook Road around 1:45 a.m. for a possible burglary, according to Sgt. Chris Bailey.

By the time police arrived, the male suspect was gone, Bailey said.

It does not appear that anything was stolen from the establishment, the sergeant said. Police are reviewing video surveillance that was obtained from the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighing between 140-150 pounds. He has a slender build and was wearing blue jeans, dark colored Nike sneakers with a white swoosh, a tan knit hat and a dark colored hooded jacket.

Anyone with information should call Hampden police at 862-4000.
