MORO – Frank C. Carpenter Sr. 81, died Feb. 11, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1932 at Moro, the son of Charles S. and Flora L. (Brackett) Carpenter.
Frank served in US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked many years as an automotive mechanic.
He is survived by his son, Frank C. Carpenter, Jr. of Moro; his daughter, Cheryl Brewster of Houlton; four grandchildren, Roy D. Sanders, Natasha L. Rossini, Savannah A. Botting and Stephanie L. Ivey; one great-granddaughter Natalia R. Rossini; his brother, Richard D. Carpenter and his wife, Ada of Limestone. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Rita Murphy.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home Saturday 12 noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Sterling Lawrence officiating. Spring interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery.
