Power to be out for maintenance Monday on Mount Desert Island

BAR HARBOR, Maine — Emera Maine crews are planning to cut power to several communities on Mount Desert Island on Monday, Feb. 17, to perform maintenance on the electrical system.

The planned interruption of service is scheduled for 8-10 a.m.

Areas to be affected include 1029 Eagle Lake Road to the intersection of Sound Drive, including Mount Desert Island High School, Sound Drive toward Northeast Harbor including the following roads: Butler, Oak Grove and Stanley Mountain Roads, Abels Lane, South West Valley Road, Sargent Drive, Sargent Point Road and the Town Of Mount Desert Island Maintenance Garage.
