Lawrence S. Gaudet

GREENVILLE – Lawrence S. Gaudet, 78, died Feb. 10, 2014, at C.A. Dean Hospital in Greenville. He was born July 31, 1935, in Greenville, the son of Virgil and Marjorie (Tupper) Gaudet.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a good softball player who could hit a long ball. He worked for Scott Paper for over 21 years, and was a good skidder operator.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maureen (Cook) Gaudet of Greenville; five children, Terry Gaudet and his wife, Sherry, of Monson, Julie Young and her husband, Lee, Debbie Jones and her husband, Neil, and Laurie Fling and her husband, Bill, all of Greenville, and Tammy Rouillard and her husband, Joel, of New York; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, his dog, Bandit.
