Richard H. Davis

CAMBRIDGE – Richard Harold Davis, 85, died Feb. 6, 2014, at his Harmony Road residence. He was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Dexter, a son of Harold and Hazel (Chadbourne) Davis.

Richard served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a heavy equipment operator for Frank Quimby and the Cianbro Corporation. Richard was a past master of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge. His family remembers him as a good husband and father. He was much loved.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eva (Carle) Davis of Cambridge; two sons, Richard P. Davis of Brownville Junction and Kevin Davis of Cambridge; three daughters, Debra and husband, Bruce Ireland, of Hermon, Kathy and husband, Armand “Pit” Hebert, of Cambridge, Christine “Joette” and husband, Clarence Worster, of Cambridge; three sisters, Beverly and husband, Frank Quimby, of Stockton Springs, Virginia Murphy of Peabody, Mass., Dorothy and husband, Harold Perkins, of Cambridge; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Herbert Bruce Davis.

Spring graveside services will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cambridge. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
