Margaret L. ‘Peggy’ DiSalvatore

BREWER – Margaret L. “Peggy” DiSalvatore, 84, began her new life with the Lord Feb. 6, 2014, with her family by her side to see her safely on her journey, at a Brewer nursing home. She was born Oct. 16, 1929, the daughter of Joseph L. and Ada G. (Mishou) Kane.

Peggy was a beautician for many years, but her greatest love was being a home maker for the family.

Peggy has joined in eternity her loving husband of 54 years, Colombo DiSalvatore Sr. Her legacy will live on in the souls of her five children, Christina DiSalvatore Perkins of Brewer, Colombo and Karen DiSalvatore Jr. of South Windsor, Conn., Antonio and Cheryl DiSalvatore of Longwood, Fla., Joseph DiSalvatore of Leicester, Mass., and Chris DiSalvatore of Tampa, Fla.; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S. Main St., Brewer, where family and friends may call 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Liturgy. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the Family Reception Rooms following the Funeral Liturgy. The Rite of Committal will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
