Edward Alton St. Pierre

MACHIAS – Eddie St. Pierre, 57, passed away unexpectedly, Feb. 3, 2014. Eddie was born May 22, 1956, in Eastport, the son of Edward and Shirley (Sullivan) St. Pierre.
Eddie was a devoted husband, caring father, loving grandfather, son, uncle, and friend to many. Eddie was a simple man, who thoroughly loved his simple life. He loved nothing more than to just have his “hunny” by his side. Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing and cherished time at hunting camp with all his buddies.
Eddie was predeceased by his father, Edward St. Pierre; and his brother, Wayne St. Pierre. Eddie leaves behind his wife of 32 years, Janet (Colbeth) St. Pierre; three children; son, Jeremy and partner, Edith, of Machias; daughter, Renee, of Machias; and daughter, Dusty and husband, Ray, of Calais; eight grandchildren, Tevin, Camdyn, Jaden, Taryn, and Sofia; also John, Sean and Dylan; his mother, Shirley St. Pierre of Machias; and a special aunt, Mildred Sullivan of Machias; also many special sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law that he loved like his own. A very special cousin, Annette Gillespie, for which he was her rock. Eddie will be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and “tall tales.”
There will be a celebration of life in memory of Eddie 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Sportsmens Lodge.
