M. Gaye Kozlovich

BREWER – Merle “Gaye” Kozlovich-Gagnon lost her battle with cancer Jan. 15, 2014. The last of many battles and her bravery was inspiring. “Gaye” Kozlovich-Gagnon Gaye, was the first of six children born to Mr. and Mrs. Steven Kozlovich, June 20, 1958.
She grew up in Millinocket where she was a gifted musician specializing in the clarinet. After graduating from Stearns High School, Gaye attended University of Maine Orono where she met her late husband Mike Gagnon.
Soon after they began a family of their own; Jared of Brunswick, Jessamyn of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Joel of Topsham. Later came Jason from Freeport and her best friend who fought by her side the entire time Katya of Brewer. She was blessed to have eight grandchildren that she cherished dearly.
