She was born March 28, 1956, in San Diego, the daughter of Laurence “Bud” and Sybil Lester. Lauree along with her three brothers grew up as part of a Navy family.
Lauree was a graduate of Hampden Academy in Hampden. On Oct. 28, 1978, she married Roger Gross and devoted the next 35 years to creating a warm and loving home for her family. Lauree was a great mom and wife and was so very proud of her family.
Lauree was such a strong wonderful lady. She was a rock that always seemed to have that knack to comfort and support everyone that she was around. Lauree showed so much compassion and love always thinking about others more than herself even while she endured this terrible disease. Lauree loved her family and her brothers and their families. She will be missed by all of us.
She completed a two year photography certification program at New Hampshire Institute of Art and became an accomplished photographer. She also was a member of the Dalton Gang.
