VAN BUREN – Susan A. Ouellette, 52, died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at a Van Buren healthcare facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 14, 1961 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Leo James and Joan (Ayotte) Dumond.
Sue enjoyed riding motorcycle, skiing and playing music at local events. She loved spending time with her daughters and her family and was especially proud of her two daughters. She had a great sense of humor and had a knack for making people laugh.
Sue is survived by: two daughters, Nikki Charette and her husband, Dustin of St. David and Karie Ouellette of Van Buren; five brothers, Doug Dumond and his wife, Linda, Ralph Dumond, Joey Dumond and his wife, Marie, Rick Dumond and his wife, Lynn, all of Van Buren, and Ken Dumond and his wife, Donna of Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. Bruno – St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Lajoie Funeral Home-Van Buren, 118 High St., Van Buren.
