Wendell L. Grindle Jr.

BUCKSPORT – Wendell L. Grindle passed away peacefully at home, Jan. 23, 2014, with his loving family at his side. He was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Blue Hill, the son of Wendell and Francis (Tabor) Grindle.

He served in the Navy as a Sea bee during World War II and spent 32 years at St. Regis. He enjoyed autobody repair, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Vicki and Art Bonin, Kathleen and Scott Findlay, and Joseph and Barbie Grindle; grandchildren, Alicia and Randy; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Ron, and Nevaeh; brother, Robert; and sister, Jane Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Phyllis; daughter, Deborah Morrison; and grandson, Laramie Morrison of Seldovia, Alaska.

There will be no services.
